Singer Rasharn Powell returns following a brief hiatus with his new single “Raving In Our Bedroom”. Fusing numerous subtle complexities, Rasharn’s profound lyrics meet a 70’s inspired production to carefully curate a sensual tone led with moody strings. He offers full transparency to capture a feeling of rejection due to his race, with his bedroom being symbolic to his safe space. Rasharn teamed up with Tayler Prince-Fraser who directs the visual which showcases Rasharn in his sinful stage at the start of his journey. It’s an infectious track from an artist who’s creative measure has no limit.
Speaking on the single, he said: “There’s a truth we must face when in our bedrooms. That inner truth is specific to each and every one of us, and others may be able to empathise with it but not always comprehend it. By God’s grace, the story I’m about to take the world on is one of ascension, but I can only do so through narrating my personal conviction and sins.”
